Offers made by RuhrWirtschaft Analyse, including price indications on this website, are non-binding and subject to change. A contract for services is concluded only when RuhrWirtschaft Analyse confirms an order in writing (including by email) or begins performance of the agreed services.

RuhrWirtschaft Analyse undertakes to perform the agreed services with professional care and to the best of its knowledge. Delivery periods for standard reviews and bespoke studies are estimates based on the information available at the time of the order. The client shall provide, in good time and free of charge, all data, documents and information necessary for the performance of the services. Delays caused by missing or late client cooperation extend delivery periods accordingly.

6. Nature of Analysis; No Investment or Legal Advice

All reports, analyses, forecasts and recommendations prepared by RuhrWirtschaft Analyse are based on publicly available data, client-supplied information and the professional judgement of our analysts at the time of preparation. Economic analyses are inherently subject to uncertainty. Our outputs:

Clients remain solely responsible for their business decisions. RuhrWirtschaft Analyse accepts no liability for decisions made by the client on the basis of our reports, except as provided in Section 9.

7. Intellectual Property and Rights of Use

All reports, data compilations, graphics, texts and other deliverables produced by RuhrWirtschaft Analyse are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of RuhrWirtschaft Analyse unless otherwise agreed in writing. Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the deliverables for its own internal business purposes. Redistribution, publication, resale or disclosure of deliverables to third parties requires our prior written consent.

The content of this website, including texts, structure and design, is likewise protected by copyright. Any reproduction or use beyond permitted private use requires our prior written consent.

8. Client Data and Confidentiality

Both parties shall treat as confidential all business and operational information of the other party obtained in the course of the engagement and shall not disclose it to third parties unless legally required. This obligation continues after termination of the contractual relationship.

RuhrWirtschaft Analyse shall be liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, and in accordance with the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG).

In the case of slight negligence, RuhrWirtschaft Analyse shall be liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht) whose fulfilment is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the client may regularly rely. In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract, up to a maximum of the fees paid for the relevant engagement.

Liability for indirect damage, loss of profit, or data loss caused by slight negligence is excluded. The above limitations do not apply where a guarantee has been given or where mandatory statutory liability provisions apply.

11. Contract Term and Termination

Engagements end upon completion of the agreed deliverables unless a continuing arrangement (e.g., subscription-style quarterly reviews or ongoing advisory) has been agreed. Continuing arrangements may be terminated by either party with three months' written notice to the end of a quarter. The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

12. Force Majeure

RuhrWirtschaft Analyse shall not be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, governmental measures, strikes, cyberattacks or failure of third-party data providers. Affected delivery periods shall be extended appropriately, and the client shall be informed without delay.
